What is immediate implantation?

Immediate implantation means placing the dental implant directly after tooth removal, during the same procedure. With adequate bone and favourable anatomy, this can significantly shorten treatment time while reducing bone loss after extraction.

Thanks to modern digital CBCT planning, precise surgical technique and advanced implant systems, immediate implantation can be a safe, predictable and reliable long-term solution. In selected cases the implant can also receive an immediate temporary restoration, allowing the patient to leave with an aesthetic smile the same day.

Important: immediate implantation is not suitable in every case. The decision is always made after a personal consultation and 3D CBCT examination.

The Socket Shield technique is one of the advanced surgical procedures in modern implantology. Its aim is to minimise bone and gum shrinkage after tooth extraction, especially in the aesthetic zone. During the procedure, a thin outer part of the tooth root is left in place while the implant is placed directly into the socket.
